David K. Kennedy

Photography began as a hobby and a way to connect with my father;himself an advanced amateur, Dad put a camera in my hands on my tenthbirthday. Over the years I've worked to improve my ability to see, and through travels with my family, have been able to capture images from a variety of places.

I graduated with a B.A. in history from Grinnell College in 2006, andwill matriculate into the University of Missouri School of Journalismin August 2008 to earn a master's degree in photojournalism.
